I thought I would try something a little different. First though, if you would, please follow the link below and read what it has to say about the Welsh Revival of 1904:
"Click Here For The Welsh Revival"
Before we go any further - do you know what Revival is? If your answer is No then please do some more research of your own before you proceed.
So, presuming you know what Revival is, I would like to ask you a series of questions. If you answer No to any of them then you are done, if you answer Yes then please proceed to the next question. After the last question, if you get that far, what you do going forwards is down to you. Please approach the questions prayerfully and take your time to answer them carefully - or not at all. Try not to just 'scan' them - but treat each as an individual study.
Do you believe that Revival could be authentic and from God (as opposed to, without exception, being just an overly emotional form of religious exhibitionism)?
Do you think that Revival is for all Christians (as opposed to only certain denominations)?
Is Revival something that you believe you could see (in your lifetime)?
Do you believe that Revival is needed?
Is Revival something that you desire to see?
Are you desperate for Revival?
Is Revival something that you desire to participate in?
Do you pray, or have you ever prayed for, or do you wish to pray (now or in the future) for Revival?
Are you motivated to pray deeply, earnestly and frequently for Revival?
Are you willing to keep on praying for Revival (even when there is no sign of it - even when things appear to be getting even worse)?
Are you willing to pay the price that you might personally be asked to pay (whatever that might be - including your earthly life) for Revival?
Do you believe that for Revival to take place God will require you personally to take action?
Are you willing to humble yourself for God?
Are you willing to bear witness before all - no matter the cost?
Are you willing to be ridiculed by the world for God?
Do you believe it starts with you (as opposed to someone else, and then you later joining in)?
Is Revival your responsibility (as opposed to someone else - who)?
Are you ready for it?
If God puts something on your heart to do will you do it (or will you hide and make excuses and justify putting it off)?
Are you willing to give up your earthly pastimes (movies, sports, soaps, social media, politics, hobbies etc) and devote yourself to prayer, fellowship and witnessing alone?
Are you ready to start now?
What are you going to do?
2 Chronicles 7
13 When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Church - Imagine, every night, the lights are on until past midnight. People coming and going all day long, the parking lot is full. People on their knees in church praying out loud, praying silently, beseeching God to heal our land. Do you think God will hear, do you think He will honor His promise ... or do you think nothing would come of it? What do you think people will think as they drive by?
Will you wait until you see something happening (and then jump on the bandwagon) or will you be instrumental (and encourage others to be instrumental) in starting revival in your town right now?
After reading this piece check back in 24 hours and ask yourself "What have I done about it?"
